By road from Bristol:
Take the A37 south out of Bristol to Shepton Mallet, the A371 to Castle Cary, then the A359 passing through the villages of Sparkford, Queen Camel, and Marston Magna. Immediately south of Marston Magna turn left onto the B3148 signed to Sherborne. At this stage you are just 2½ miles from the Patson Hill Farm lane. The B3148 crosses over a railway line, ascends a steep hill, then passes three minor cross roads. About 300 metres after the third cross road, you will see to the left a property called Pearce Seeds.
Carry on for a further ½ mile then turn left onto the Patson Hill Farm lane. Drive along the lane past the garage and farm house then you will see the cottages straight ahead. Continue on to the cottages car park at the rear.
From the North and the M5:
At Exit 25 take the A358 and head for Ilminster. Near Ilminster at the junction with the A303 turn left and continue east until reaching Sparkford (Hazlegrove roundabout). Turn right onto the A359 at Sparkford and follow the directions from this point given above for travel from Bristol.
From Bath: Follow the A367 south out of Bath heading for Radstock and Shepton Mallet. About 2 miles north of Shepton Mallet the A367 joins the A37. Turn left (south) onto the A37 and follow the directions from this point given above for travel from Bristol.
North of Southampton, take the M27 then the M3 Northbound. Near Winchester take the A34 north to the junction with the A303. Travel west on the A303 for approximately 55 miles to the Hazlegrove roundabout at Sparkford.
Turn left onto the A359 and follow the directions from this point given above for travel from Bristol. Alternatively you may join the M27 out of Southampton, travel westbound and turn right onto the A36 to Salisbury. At Salisbury join the A30 westbound passing through Wilton and Shaftesbury eventually arriving at Sherborne. At Sherborne turn right onto the B3148 heading for Marston Magna. Travel along this road for a distance of 1.8 miles until you see the Patson Hill Farm lane on your right. (If you reach a lane on the left signed "Trent" you have gone too far.) Drive along the lane past the garage and farm house then you will see the cottages straight ahead. Continue on to the cottages car park at the rear.
Take the M3, then the A303 until you reach the Hazlegrove roundabout at Sparkford. Turn left onto the A359 and follow the directions from this point given above for travel from Bristol.
